As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue09:00 PM - 05:00 AMWed09:00 PM - 05:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access at designated entry and exit points, verifying credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery driver or contractor access in accordance with site procedures. Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle entry records, issuing and retrieving access credentials as directed. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
