Job Full Description

Express Employment is seeking sit down forklift operators for a great company in Shepherdsville. We have all shift available.

Key Responsibilities

Operate equipment safely : Drive and maneuver a sit-down forklift to move, load, unload, stack, and count merchandise and materials
Transport goods : Move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods between storage areas, production lines, and loading docks
Loading/unloading : Efficiently load and unload inbound and outbound trucks, trailers, and containers, verifying shipment accuracy and integrity
Inventory management : Use RF scanning and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory movement and maintain real-time data accuracy
Storage & staging : Stack and store pallets in designated locations, maximizing space utilization and maintaining organized racks
Order preparation : Pull, prepare, and stage products for shipment, ensuring correct quantity and type match packing lists or shipping documents
Damage reporting : Notify supervisors immediately of product damage, quality issues, or inventory discrepancies.
Safety compliance : Follow OSHA regulations, company safety protocols, and standard operating procedures to maintain a secure workplace

Required Skills & Qualifications

Valid forklift operation certificate or training
Ability to work in a fast-paced, often physically demanding environment
Attention to detail and commitment to safety
Basic computer literacy for WMS/RF systems
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
