Mold Analyst

Eurofins seeks a Mold Analyst for its Pasadena, TX laboratory to prepare and analyze environmental samples, enter data into laboratory information systems, and ensure analytical quality. The role involves sample preparation, data validation, quality control oversight, and support for laboratory accreditation and training initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze environmental samples following established scientific protocols
- Enter analytical data into laboratory information systems and generate client reports
- Review and validate data accuracy for own work and peer analysts
- Perform quality control testing on reference materials and proficiency samples
- Schedule sample workload, coordinate project timelines, and maintain laboratory inventory
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or closely related science
- 1–2 years of laboratory work experience
- Knowledge of environmental testing methodologies and analytical techniques
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems and databases
- Understanding of laboratory quality assurance requirements and regulatory standards
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software
Compensation: $20.00–$22.00 per hour
