VIP Alterations Specialist - Rodeo Drive

Summary Provide high-quality alterations on Ready-To-Wear and Haute Couture garments for VIP clients on Rodeo Drive, ensuring precision in tailoring and flou techniques. Deliver exceptional client service while collaborating with VIP relations and boutique teams and maintaining strict confidentiality. Support the regional alterations community by coaching and demonstrating specialty skills when needed. Responsibilities Perform alterations and repairs on VIP garments, including hemming, mending, taking in and letting out seams, and reversible adjustments Fit garments on clients to determine and execute appropriate alterations Maintain production standards and deliver on established time frame expectations Communicate specifications and preferences with VIP relations locally and globally Use and maintain sewing machines, irons, and pressing equipment to ensure proper operation Preserve confidentiality with VIPs, publicists, stylists, and agents Contribute to training and development of alterations talent within the team Requirements Minimum 5 years of alterations experience in a luxury retail environment preferred Mastery of sewing techniques including tailoring, flou, leather, knits, beading, and fine buttonholes Strong knowledge of fabrics and luxury garment construction Exceptional client service, communication skills, and attention to detail Ability to work under time constraints and a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and some holidays Ability to lift 20 lb and required in-store presence for Heart of House duties #J-18808-Ljbffr brobstongroup.com - Jobboard
