IT Coordinator

IT Professional Job

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to maintain and enhance our computer deployments. The ideal candidate will configure tools for deploying, maintaining, and monitoring laptops and desktops, working closely with operational and business teams to fulfill machine requirements. This role involves collaboration with other infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with network, security, and server requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve computer deployments.
• Configure tools for deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of laptops and desktops.
• Work with operational and business teams to establish machine requirements and create configuration profiles and policies.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams (network, security, server) to ensure machines meet all requirements.
• Handle day-to-day deployments and issues.
• Follow standard operating procedures and manage workload through a ticketing system.
• Provide hands-on support to users.
• Maintain PCs and peripherals, including printers and scanners.
• Manage PCs in an enterprise environment (Jamf preferred, any MDM helpful).
• Prepare hardware, software, back-office, and networking configurations for new users.
• Manage wired and wireless networks.
• Perform minor PC repairs and parts ordering.
• Troubleshoot PC and network issues.
• Work within a ticketing system to address end-user requests promptly.
• Record, track, and document issues and resolutions, including initial problems, decisions made, actions taken, and final resolutions (Jira Service Desk).

Qualifications

• Four years of education or four years of Mac and/or PC support experience required (work experience can substitute for education).
• Understanding of Directory Services (Windows AD and Open Directory) required.
• Experience with laser and label printers, Zebra and Client.
• Experience with Windows 10 to 11 migrations.
• Experience with Kace is a plus.
