Maintenance Helper

Maintenance AssistantResponsible for assisting the Maintenance Department with repairs/installations/troubleshooting etc.ResponsibilitiesEssential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Overall shop cleaning and organizing. (including bathrooms and lunch room)Basic building and office repairs (light switches, assemble and repair office furniture, etc.)Occasionally performs general carpentryPaints as required uses rollers, brushes, extension poles, or spray guns as neededPerforms cleaning and inspections of equipment and the buildingRequired to assist with installation projects (install lights, racks, etc.)Completes basic maintenance paperwork and assists with PM'sTracks and records parts or tools that may need to be purchasedUses power tools to complete repairsPerforms general housekeeping duties as required in work areas.Note: This description covers the major duties performed, but is not intended to be all-inclusive. Additional duties may be assigned that would not alter the rating of the job.QualificationsAbility to understand and follow all quality alerts. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
