RN/LPN Unit ManagerWest Delray Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN/LPN Unit Manager to join our leadership team. In this vital role, you will support the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in delivering high-quality resident care while effectively leading and mentoring nursing staff.Key responsibilities include:Assist the DON and ADON in overseeing daily nursing department operationsEnsure nursing staff adhere to established policies, procedures, and job responsibilitiesAddress resident and family concerns, ensuring proper resolution and reportingManage unit operations, including staffing coordination and coverageMonitor staffing efficiency to reduce overtime and limit agency usageProvide supervision, guidance, and performance management for nursing staffImplement progressive discipline when appropriateParticipate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiativesTeach, demonstrate, and evaluate clinical skills and competenciesOversee MDS completion and ensure compliance with regulationsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care planning and discharge processesPrepare reports, review documentation, and assist with audits and data collectionSupport recruitment efforts, including interviewing and hiring staffFoster a compassionate, resident-centered care environmentParticipate in weekend and holiday coverage as neededAttend meetings and committees as assignedQualifications include:Active and valid RN or LPN license in the state of FloridaMinimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferredPrior experience in long-term care strongly preferredAt least 6 months of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursingStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsBenefits include:Generous Paid Time Off (PTO)Medical and Dental CoverageEmployee Recognition ProgramsCompany Perks and DiscountsSupportive, Team-Oriented Work EnvironmentOne Personal Floating HolidayJoin a team that values compassion, leadership, and excellence in care.
