Commercial Finance Lead

Position Overview Our client is seeking a Commercial Finance Lead to oversee pricing administration, customer rebate programs, commercial analysis, and financial reporting while partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and Accounts Receivable. This role combines financial analysis, pricing strategy, profitability management, and team leadership to help drive business performance and EBITDA growth. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted business partner, providing actionable financial insights while improving commercial processes and supporting key business initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a small team while driving performance and continuous improvement Manage customer and product pricing within the ERP system to ensure pricing accuracy and integrity Oversee customer rebate programs, including agreement administration, rebate calculations, accruals, and claim validation Analyze pricing, margins, customer profitability, and rebate programs to identify opportunities for increased profitability Evaluate proposed rebate agreements and provide financial recommendations to support commercial decisions Develop financial reports, dashboards, budgets, forecasts, and business performance analyses Extract and analyze data from SAP and other business systems to provide actionable financial insights Partner closely with Sales, Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, and Finance to resolve pricing and rebate issues Identify opportunities to improve reporting, internal controls, and overall commercial finance processes Ideal Candidate Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field 2+ years of experience in commercial finance, pricing, FP&A, business analysis, or a related finance role Experience with pricing administration, customer rebates, profitability analysis, budgeting, and forecasting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience using Power BI, PowerPoint, and SAP (or a comparable ERP system) Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments Process improvement mindset with strong attention to detail Performance-based bonus opportunity High-visibility role with exposure to senior finance and commercial leadership This is an outstanding opportunity for a finance professional looking to broaden their impact beyond traditional FP&A.
