Job Opportunity – Operating Room Nurse – GYN/GU/Transplant Specialty – Wisconsin

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Evening 12-hour shifts, 0640-1910 x 3 weekly with potential for one 0940-2210 shift biweekly. Weekend rotation and weekday call requirement included. 17 to 21 week assignment available.

• Specialized focus on Gynecology, Genitourinary, and Transplant procedures in a high-acuity OR environment
• Extensive case mix including kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, Da Vinci Xi robotic surgery, HOLEP, cystectomy, nephrectomy, hysterectomy, ureteroscopy, and laparoscopic gynecology
• Epic charting system utilized for comprehensive documentation
• Magnet-designated facility recognized as Wisconsin's top-ranked hospital and a leading national teaching and referral center
• Opportunity to work with advanced surgical technology and complex transplant cases
• Two pre-approved time-off periods available during contract

Requirements:

• Active RN License (Wisconsin license required or pending with submission)
• BLS Certification (AHA only) required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care OR experience within the last 3 years in specialty area
• Proven experience in Urology, Gynecology/Oncology, kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, and robotic surgery
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Proficiency in Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and complex surgical procedures
• Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Successful completion of telemetry exam with strict passing criteria
