As Outside Sales Representative, you will be our ultimate, in-studio, ambassador in greater Los Angeles. The Job: Assist the LA design community in sourcing fabrics and wallcoverings for their specific design projects from our vast array of product options. Schedule an average of 5 in-studio product presentations daily to introduce our latest collections, with on average 4 launch cycles per calendar year. Manage design libraries with a la carte sampling and/or other sales and marketing tools to build an optimal and easy to use product library. Set sales targets at customer level, measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. Build strong, meaningful and genuine relationships with our customers and within the greater design community. Increase our customer base through research and observation, including the use of social media, exploring leads and establishing yourself as a prime designer resource. Meet or exceed a mutually agreed upon annual sales goal. Manage and log your sales calls in our CRM (customer relationship management) software. Generate a quarterly synopsis of your territory with updated goals for accounts that require extra monitoring. Display integrity and a commitment to world class customer service. Report to higher management. Make a conscious effort to partake in industry events. Key To Success: Use of common sense, striving for efficiency and effectiveness. The ability to learn fast, and the drive to excel. Positive, energetic, can-do attitude! Passionate about interior design, architecture and/or fashion and luxury goods Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills Excellent time management and follow up skills Willing and able to travel on a daily basis College degree and 2 years of work experience in either design, fashion, or relevant industry sales experience preferred, but not required!
