Job Summary:
The position of Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) located in Mission Viejo, California, involves performing specialized imaging procedures including PET/CT scans, nuclear cardiology, and general nuclear medicine studies. The successful candidate must bring their license on the first day and possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience. Candidates with PET experience are highly preferred, and those new to travel assignments are welcome if they have at least two years of experience.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license, ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification, BLS certification, minimum 1 year of relevant experience, and flexibility to work day shifts with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Preferred Qualifications: PET certification, experience with Siemens equipment, Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) proficiency, and prior experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Float: Not specified; travelers should expect to float within the state as needed
• Additional Information: The role involves rotating weekend shifts, evening and rotating weekend call, and occasional overtime. The position requires proficiency with Siemens or similar equipment, and candidates must be willing to work in a multi-disciplinary, acute-care environment with a variety of complex studies such as PET/CT, cardiac, bone, and other nuclear medicine procedures. Commitment to working 3 out of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day) is necessary. Candidates must disclose license information and background check results upfront and have references covering one year (or six months for CNAs) prior to start. This is a non-billable orientation position with a 0-hour training period prior to the start of the assignment.
