Registered Dietitian

Travel assignment in or near Vernon, Texas for a 13-week contract. Provide clinical nutrition care in hospital and psychiatric settings, develop individualized plans, and support food service operations. Earn competitive pay above market with comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop individualized nutrition care plans
• Provide nutrition assessments, education, and counseling to patients in hospital and psychiatric settings
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in the electronic medical record
• Conduct nutrition screenings and coordinate with other medical staff to optimize patient care
• Support hospital food service operations by reviewing menus and nutritional content, ensuring compliance with dietary regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field from an accredited institution
• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from National Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics
• Texas state license to practice dietetics
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience as a dietitian
• Experience in hospital or psychiatric settings (preferred)
• Familiarity with hospital electronic medical record systems
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to lift and carry dietary supplies or documents as needed
