Job Details Specialty: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Location: Nashville, TN 37203 Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650 Start Date: September 21, 2026 End Date: December 21, 2026 Setting: High-risk obstetric / women’s health unit Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required High-risk antepartum experience preferred Experience circulating C-sections required Experience with labor & delivery, vaginal deliveries, and bereavement care Experience with magnesium drips and gynecologic care preferred Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Comfort working a rotating weekend schedule Ability to float to OBED, Mother Baby, and Labor & Delivery as needed Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate care to antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients Circulate C-sections and support obstetric procedures in a high-risk labor and delivery environment Monitor patients receiving magnesium therapy and respond appropriately to changes in condition Assist with vaginal deliveries and provide clinical support during high-risk births Deliver bereavement care with professionalism, empathy, and cultural sensitivity Collaborate closely with the care team, charge nurse, and unit support staff Document accurately using the unit’s clinical systems and maintain compliance standards Follow unit policies, safety protocols, and best practices in maternal-fetal nursing Apply now to join a respected Nashville healthcare team and take the next step in your Labor & Delivery travel nursing career.
