Quoting new business prospects for predominantly personal lines and occasional small commercial lines policies. You will also be supporting Ironside Insurance Groups goal of providing our clients with appropriate levels of protection through an array of affordable insurance products./ppThis role is available as a fully remote, work from home position for candidates living in the following states:/pulliMassachusetts/liliConnecticut/liliNew Hampshire/liliRhode Island/li/ulpCore Responsibilities:/pulliManage incoming leads provided by our producers and internal agency referrals/liliMake outbound calls e-mails to these prospective clients/liliQuote new business across all carriers/liliAdvise and educate prospects/clients on coverage, options and features/liliInput accurate information to ensure correct risk assessment and premium calculation/liliField underwrites to ensure only binding appropriate types of risk for agency appetite/liliTrack leads and progress throughout the quoting process and maintain appropriate follow-up/liliCross-sell additional lines of business/liliObtain referrals/li/ulpRequired Skills:/pulliAssociate degree in business-related field or minimum 3+ years consistent direct experience in the personal lines new business space./liliExperience with major carriers in the New England area (preferably Massachusetts) as well as experience with the MA Registry of Motor Vehicles./liliPrior sales experience is a must./liliPrior personal lines (auto home) in-agency insurance experience with a basic knowledge of coverage, industry principles and products./liliComfortable with identifying opportunities, asking for and closing the sale of additional insurance products services./liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to work independently and as part of a team./liliActive PC Insurance licensed/liliAbility to both prioritize, as well as review, record and organize data from a variety of sources./li/ulpPreferred Skills:/pulliBachelors degree/liliCommercial lines insurance knowledge and experience/liliWorking familiarity of Agency Management Systems, Single Point / Boston Software./liliFluency in Spanish also a plus./li/ulpBenefit package:/ppAt Ironside Insurance Group, our total rewards package consists of:/pulliCompetitive compensation package to include: Base salary, Performance-based increases and bonus opportunities, Potential to earn an additional $25k annually based on bound business/lili401k with up to a 4% company match (after 90 days)/liliComprehensive health, dental and vision benefits with company contributions for both employees and their dependents/liliGroup life insurance, short and long-term disability as well as accidental death insurance fully paid by Ironside/liliGenerous flexible time off plan as well as paid holidays/liliParental leave/lili100% remote work environment, providing necessary equipment to help create your ideal workspace/li/ul/div
