CNA - Long Term Care

Schedule: FT day and night shift variable, shifts scheduled as needed by client, EOW and Holiday required

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 14 weeks

Requirements:

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
• BLS (AHA or RQI only)
• One (1) year of previous Long Term Care experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents, including responding promptly to calls and ensuring cleanliness.
• Support residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meal delivery, preparation, and feeding as necessary.
• Provide rehabilitative support, including range of motion exercises and assistance with ambulation and transfers.
• Report any changes in residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial status to the supervising nurse.

Compliance / Notes:

• Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated.
• Required tasks involve potential contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
