As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Hilo, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a healthcare location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, support patients, visitors, and staff with professional customer service, and communicate clearly when responding to concerns. Pay Rate: $22.58 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Pre-Employment Requirement: Security Experience - +1 Years (C115)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and the reporting of security-related concerns in accordance with location policies.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, activities, and concerns to Allied Universal supervision and designated location personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
