CGP: Accounting Manager

$65 - $70 per hour

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $65.00 to $70.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

Direct daily accounting activities for a portfolio of real estate assets, including residential and commercial properties
Manage financial close cycles and ensure timely preparation of accurate reports
Review financial statements to confirm alignment with accounting standards and internal policies
Monitor project-level cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting efforts
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain compliance and support audits

Requirements:

A minimum of 5+ years in accounting, including at least 2+ years in a leadership role
Familiarity with real estate accounting practices, including lease and development cost tracking
Skilled in using financial software such as Yardi, MRI, or QuickBooks
Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail in financial reporting
Capable of managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines under pressure

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline; CPA certification is a plus
Proven ability to lead and mentor accounting staff in a collaborative environment
Experience implementing process improvements and optimizing accounting systems
Effective communicator with the ability to present financial insights to stakeholders
Comfortable working cross-functionally with asset management and development teams
