Corporate Accountant

Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr Corporate Accountant – Luxury Goods Retailer High end luxury goods retailers seek a Corporate Accountant to join their Team!! Responsibilities Perform accounting functions as assigned including, but not limited to booking journal entries, Balance Sheet reconciliations and providing analysis to understand trends on P'L. Assist with statutory filings to various states. Collaborate with various departments to solve discrepancies & to complete tasks assigned. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to the general ledger. Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy, completeness and discrepancies. Ensure all financial closing and reporting deadlines that have been assigned are met and assist with all audits. Back-up month-end duties assigned to other Accountants. Must be comfortable working with large data in MS Excel and have experience creating pivot tables and v-lookup. Identify areas for process improvement and streamlining. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required. 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in retail environment and public accounting. Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Experience working with Microsoft Great Plains and Microsoft Dynamics 365, a plus.
