Position Summary As a software engineer you will apply knowledge of real-time embedded software development and configurable logic development to the creation and maintenance of nuclear safety design policy. You will apply nuclear safety design policy to current and new nuclear weapon systems, including the most advanced weapon systems in development. You will take the understanding of those weapon systems and verify they meet nuclear safety design policy requirements, and the weapon system documentation meets nuclear safety design standards. This position is On-Site at Kirtland AFB (Sandia National Lab) in Albuquerque, NM.
