Responsibilities: Civil/Electrical Project Coordination: assist Project Managers with project tracking, maintain work schedules, and prepare engineering paperwork such as RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Engineering Billing & Collections: prepare and issue accurate client invoices, resolve billing holds with PMs, and handle professional collection calls for outstanding balances. Official Notary Services: act as the office’s Notary Public to authenticate signatures on vital documents. Front Office Management: answer multi‑line phones with professional etiquette, screen inquiries for engineers and surveyors; manage daily intake and distribution of mail and packages; order office supplies and coordinate supplies and office outings. Qualifications: Notary Public Commission or eligibility and willingness to obtain one immediately. Administrative Experience: at least 5 years in an administrative role, preferably within an engineering or professional services environment. Project Based Skills: proven experience with project‑based knowledge, accounts receivable, or collections. Software Proficiency: skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word); experience with industry software like Deltek Ajera is a major plus. Detail‑Oriented: exceptional ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously without losing track of administrative essentials. Professional Civil Engineer – Land Development Design (10+ Years) Lead our team located in Annapolis, Maryland, bringing over a decade of land‑development design experience. Responsibilities: Business Development for our Land Development division. Perform all facets of civil site design, including site layout, land grading, stormwater management, roadway and utility infrastructure, sediment and erosion control. Create CAD drawings, layouts, and production plans per local codes and standards, and provide quality control. Prepare detailed stormwater management reports with computations for ESDv, drainage area delineation, runoff, storm drain flows, HGLs, suitability reports, cost estimates, and other technical documents. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and regulatory agency reviewers throughout project duration. Handle permit processing and submittals with local and state agencies. Communicate with project team on workflow status and priorities to meet project goals. Prepare proposals for potential work and train other team members. Qualifications: Must have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET‑accredited college or university. Proficiency in HydroCAD, TR‑55, and Maryland Stormwater Management design and computation preferred. Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Technical excellence in engineering principles and practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrate precision, thoroughness, and diligence in handling tasks. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess project needs and deliver client solutions. Land Survey Field Technician Support engineering, planning, environmental, and construction services projects through detailed survey work. Position Requirements: Ability to perform fieldwork year‑round and rigorous physical tasks. Assist in maintenance and care of Survey Equipment and Crew Vehicle. Skill in or willingness to learn operation of Trimble GPS, Trimble Robotic Total Stations, and Data Collectors. Willingness to learn survey office related tasks such as deed research and plotting, transferring fieldwork files and processing fieldwork. Willingness to advance and learn new survey skills and techniques. Valid driver’s license. Educational Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Land Surveying or CST certification desired but not required. Desired Field Survey Experience: 3‑5 years of field survey experience. Desired Office Experience: AutoCAD 1 year (preferred). Civil Engineer – Land Development Design (Centreville & Salisbury) Work on a variety of commercial, residential, and institutional projects primarily located in Maryland with some work in surrounding Mid‑Atlantic states. Responsibilities: Perform all facets of civil site design including site layout, land grading, stormwater management, roadway, utilities, and sediment and erosion control. Create CAD drawings, layouts, and production plans per local codes and standards, and provide quality control. Prepare detailed stormwater management reports with computations for ESDv, drainage area delineation, runoff, storm drain flows, HGLs, suitability reports, cost estimates, and other associated technical documents. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and regulatory agency reviewers throughout project duration. Handle permit processing and submittals with local and state agencies. Communicate with project team on workflow status and priorities to meet project goals. Prepare proposals for potential work and train other team members. Qualifications: Must have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET‑accredited college or university. Senior Electrical Engineer – Annapolis Lead the McCrone electrical group, managing staff, quality control, project management, and design review. Responsibilities: Power Distribution, Motor Control, PLC Control System, Control Panels, Lighting, Facility Conduit and Wiring Design. Schematic and Logic Development. Extensive Knowledge and Implementation of the National Electric Code. Working knowledge of AutoCAD. Facility Construction Document and Shop Drawing Review. Facility Testing and Startup. Requirements: Minimum 6 years’ experience in Industrial Electrical Design, preferably in water and wastewater application. Professional Engineer license in Maryland or ability to obtain. Quality focus with attention to detail. Civil Designer – Annapolis (2-5 Years) Support a range of residential, commercial, and institutional projects in various Maryland jurisdictions. Responsibilities: All facets of civil site design including site layout, land grading, stormwater management, roadway, utilities, and sediment and erosion control. Client and consultant interaction while working on projects. Assisting with permit processing and submittals with local and state agencies. Qualifications: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Maryland Stormwater Management Design. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Civil Design Qualifications Education: Associates Degree in Engineering Technology (preferred) with at least 5+ years of civil design experience. Skills: Broad-based knowledge of standard methods in civil design. Ability to check plan design for accuracy after initial drafting plans are completed and note any discrepancies and necessary changes.
