Are you an experienced Accountant or Bookkeeper who enjoys owning the numbers, improving processes, and helping a growing business succeed?

We're partnering with one of Massachusetts' fastest-growing independent automotive repair groups. With three successful locations in Franklin, MA and continued expansion on the horizon, they're looking for an accounting professional who wants to become an integral part of the leadership team—not just another back-office employee.

What You'll Do

As the Accountant / Bookkeeper, you'll oversee the day-to-day accounting operations across multiple locations while providing accurate financial reporting to ownership.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting functions for multiple business entities
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month-end close
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and journal entries
• Manage vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with payroll processing and employee records
• Prepare reports and documentation for CPA and tax filings
• Help improve accounting processes as the company continues to grow
• Work closely with ownership to provide financial insight and operational support

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who has experience owning the accounting function and can work independently with minimal supervision.

Ideal qualifications include:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, preferred
• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Experience with multi-location or small business accounting preferred
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles
• Experience with QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Positive attitude with a willingness to wear multiple hats in a growing organization
• Automotive industry experience is a plus, but not required.
