Job Overview
Search Solution Group is seeking an Accounting Clerk on behalf of our client, a family-owned, independent biocide manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded accounting professional to join a growing organization during an exciting period of operational transformation.


The Accounting Clerk will support daily accounting operations while playing a key role in the company's ERP implementation and transition from QuickBooks Online to NetSuite. This position is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end close support, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and enjoys balancing day-to-day accounting responsibilities with process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
• Enter and verify vendor invoices, customer invoices, and payment records.
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with AP close processes and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate accounting records within QuickBooks Online and NetSuite.
• Support the company's ERP implementation, including the migration from QuickBooks Online to NetSuite.
• Assist with data validation, cleansing, and system migration activities.
• Review financial records for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes and workflows.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and supporting records.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements Include Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant accounting experience will be considered.

Experience

• 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general accounting functions.
• Experience supporting month-end close activities.
• Experience preparing journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Experience using QuickBooks Online is required.
• Experience with ERP implementations or accounting system conversions is highly preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
