Job Summary This role manages the procurement process for Rentokil‑Terminix North American spend, leading cross‑functional teams to define category plans, drive savings, mitigate risk, and advance sustainability objectives. Spend accountability is approximately $50‑$100 million with high complexity and business risk. Key Performance Indicators Definition and delivery of category plans to drive savings, risk mitigation, and sustainability in line with Rentokil‑Terminix objectives. Achieving in‑year AOP targets and long‑term competitive advantage. Responsibilities Lead the external‑facing commercial process for third‑party spend, owning the development of sourcing strategies that optimize total spend, deliver cost savings, maximize cash, mitigate risk, and drive sustainability. Lead complex, cross‑functional negotiations, ensuring full optimization of spending power and engagement of senior stakeholders in finance, legal, HR, and operations. Use business and legal acumen to manage high‑value, high‑complexity SOWs, RFx’s, and contracts with minimal direction, ensuring vendor requirements are well‑defined and delivered. Work with the legal team to codify negotiated agreements into legal contracts, protecting the organization and ensuring benefits are delivered. Define metrics to ensure successful implementation of vendor benefits and manage implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives. Contract‑manage the ongoing senior‑level relationship to ensure delivery and realization of defined benefits. May lead procurement sourcing specialists, analysts, and strategic buying teams. Act as a category subject‑matter expert, coaching colleagues on smaller‑value areas and serving as an internal and external reference for procurement questions. Own relevant spend maps, drive analytics to identify opportunities, and proactively review existing contracts to mitigate risk. Develop and manage annual cost savings, working capital improvement, budgets, and supplier performance targets. Foster regular communication with stakeholders, ensuring clarity of needs and benefits procurement brings. Apply a strategic approach to vendor qualification, selection, and development, including RFI/RFP management, contract negotiation, and cost‑saving initiatives. Remain current on market and category trends, continuously implementing improvements. Manage suppliers to drive quality standards, adherence to specifications, and continuous improvement initiatives. Improve working capital performance through extension of payment terms. Ensure compliance with regional and global procurement policies and build strong relationships between Procurement and Functional teams. Exhibit strong interpersonal communication and change‑management skills, motivating diverse internal customers to follow optimal strategy. Qualifications Over 3‑5 years of procurement or related experience. Experience with procurement best practices and a successful track record in managing corporate spend. Experience negotiating and optimizing strategic programs aligned with organizational goals. Experience developing and negotiating complex contracts. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities against tight deadlines. Analytical and strategic problem‑solving capabilities in finance and business subjects. Strong influencing and expert negotiation skills. Effective communication and facilitation skills. Detail‑oriented, producing accurate, professional analyses in a timely manner. Proven ability to lead, build trust, and be highly credible across organizational levels. Leadership Traits Management and leadership qualification preferred. Serve as a mentor to the Procurement organization. Build strong relationships between Procurement and other Functional teams.
