SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST

U.S. Marine Corps

Job Title

This position requires a professional who can serve as a recognized authority/advisor and/or senior manager to the Commander/Executive Director/Director/Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities

The duties include:

Serving as a recognized authority/advisor and/or senior manager to the Commander/Executive Director/Director/Program Manager.
Making contractual decisions and providing recommendations on procurement policies/procedures.
Analyzing, evaluating, and reviewing proposed and ongoing procurement and cost and pricing data for highly complex multi-year acquisition of major systems.
Serving on high-level boards and committees including representation and/or liaison with Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Navy (DON), and Marine Corps (MC).
Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting priorities, evaluating work performance of subordinates, giving advice or instructing employees, and identifying developmental and training needs.
