About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of complex accounting functions, financial analysis, and month-end close. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being a key contributor to financial accuracy and operational decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare advanced journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules
- Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations
- Oversee fixed assets, depreciation, and capital project tracking
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
- Review AP/AR activity for accuracy and compliance
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Mentor junior accounting staff and support process improvements
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
- 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (SAP, NetSuite, JD Edwards, etc.)
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently
