Test Manager - Selenium and API Testing

An information technology services organization is seeking a Test Manager in Chicago, Illinois to lead test planning, automation strategy, and execution for connected device and network-focused products. This role centers on Selenium and API testing, with a strong emphasis on quality, collaboration, and automation across the software delivery lifecycle.
About the Opportunity:- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)
- Lead test strategy and execution for product releases
- Define and implement automated testing solutions using Selenium and API testing frameworks
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and pipelines for functional, regression, and performance testing
- Integrate testing activities into CI/CD workflows and agile development processes
- Manage test environments, analyze results, troubleshoot failures, and report quality metrics and dashboards
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java or Python, and API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts
- Expertise in testing RESTful services and APIs
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Experience automating tests for embedded devices, routers, modems, or IoT products
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, and test result visualization tools
- Excellent communication and team management skills
- Experience with Wi-Fi system validation
- Experience with network emulators or Wi-Fi test beds
- Experience in satellite broadband or connected device testing
