Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Michigan
• Experience or interest in school-based settings is highly preferred
• Strong ability to assess students and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
• Ability to manage documentation and progress tracking efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs related to occupational therapy
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff
• Provide direct therapy services to students, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input for student goals
• Consult with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies within the classroom
• Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with district and state regulations
