Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Pediatric CVICU RNs!

Job Description:


- Join a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to pediatric care!
- Enjoy flexible scheduling: Any 3 × 12-hour shifts × 36 hrs/week.
- Work in collaboration with healthcare teams, patients, and families.
- Deliver professional nursing care based on age and condition, adhering to evidence-based practices.
- Required to float between four campuses:
- Main: 1919 East Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85016
- Arrowhead: 19007 N. 67th Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85308
- Avondale: 1665 North Avondale Boulevard, Avondale, AZ 85392
- East Valley: 3370 S Mercy Road, Gilbert, AZ 85297
- Responsibilities include floating to NICU and PICU.
- Shift availability: Days (7a-7p) & Nights (7p-7a).
- Discuss RTO during the interview for pre-approval.

Requirements:


- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in pediatric CVICU.
- Experience in a hospital with a Level III or IV NICU strongly preferred.
- Experience floating to NICU and PICU preferred.
- Children's hospital experience is an asset.
- Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Certification/License:
- Current State of Arizona RN license or compact state RN license.
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association.
- Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Current NRP certification preferred.

Additional Details:


- COVID-19 vaccination strongly recommended; Flu vaccination required during seasonal months (October through April).
- Flu exemption applications must be approved prior to starting.
- Those unvaccinated for Flu or COVID-19 must sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and wear masks during respiratory virus season.
