Human Resources Administrator

Position Overview The HR Administrator provides administrative support to the Human Resources department and assists with the day-to‑day operations of HR functions. This role is responsible for maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment activities, coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes, administering HR policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records and HR databases. Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job vacancies, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates. Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs. Process employment documentation such as contracts, offer letters, and termination paperwork. Support payroll administration by maintaining employee information and submitting required data. Manage employee benefits enrollment and respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and benefits. Monitor employee attendance, leave requests, and other HR‑related records. Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives. Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices. Prepare HR reports, presentations, and correspondence as required. Support employee engagement activities and company events. Handle confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion. Education High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience). HR Certificate a plus. Experience 1–3 years of experience in an HR, administrative, or related role preferred. Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) is beneficial. Paycom experience highly preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Knowledge of employment laws and HR practices is an asset.
