The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $225K and $275K/year* (see footnote for additional compensation and benefits information).

Department Overview

As a member of the Investment Banking Division’s Consumer & Retail group, you will be working with managing directors, executive directors, associates, and analysts on servicing and executing client transactions.

Responsibilities

• Developing and leading a coverage effort across selected Specialty Finance sub-sectors
• Execution of M&A transactions – responsible for business and valuation analysis, financial modelling, investor outreach and coordination of negotiations between parties
• Preparing new business presentations and information memorandums for clients
• Development, training, and mentoring of new associates and analysts

Qualifications

• Outstanding academic qualifications: MBA or other relevant graduate degree desirable, but not required
• A minimum of 3–4 years of investment banking M&A experience
• Bulge bracket training program or Big 4 a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• SIE, Series 63, and 79 are required, or willingness to sit for the exams required

*Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job‑related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include other elements, such as a sign‑on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
