Litigation Paralegal

Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP seeks a full-time litigation paralegal with 1-3 years of experience to join our Litigation practice in our Baltimore office. Candidates must have an Associate’s degree and/or paralegal certificate and have knowledge of civil procedure and the filing practices across local state and federal jurisdictions. Responsibilities include review of documents and legal filings, drafting summaries of transcripts and medical records, preparing initial drafts of various documents, assisting with all phases of litigation, and meeting billable hour requirements. Candidate should have knowledge of discovery practices and experience in any form of document management and/or organization. The candidate should possess strong general research skills. While legal research experience is not required, they should be able to effectively locate information and determine how, when, and where it can be accessed. Must be able to maintain positive working relationship and assist with large volume of assignments. Ideal candidate will be reliable and provide direct support to the managing paralegal.
