Overview Litigation Paralegal (JN -052026-292876) – Pikesville, Maryland Apply with Indeed Salary: USD70,000 - USD75,000 per annum Our client is a nationally recognized plaintiff-side litigation firm with a multi-office U.S. presence, including New York, Maryland, and the Southeast. The firm has over 40 years of experience representing individuals in complex, high-stakes litigation against large institutions such as corporations, healthcare systems, universities, and government entities. The practice focuses on areas including personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, and sexual abuse litigation, and has achieved significant verdicts and settlements nationwide. With a team of experienced trial attorneys supported by a mid-sized professional staff, the firm is known for handling sensitive, high-impact cases requiring diligence, discretion, and strong litigation support. Responsibilities Manage and track a high-volume litigation caseload within the CVA/Sexual Abuse practice area Draft pleadings, motions, and litigation documents, including discovery requests and responses Handle state and federal e-filing across multiple jurisdictions (multi-state experience preferred) Coordinate service of process and maintain case files from inception through resolution Manage multi-time zone calendaring, tracking court deadlines, depositions, hearings, and trial dates Schedule and prepare attorneys for depositions, hearings, mediations, and client meetings Provide full trial preparation and trial support Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and required documentation Organize and maintain detailed, accurate case records and files Experience Requirements Minimum 5+ years of plaintiff-side litigation experience in personal injury Experience in sexual abuse/CVA litigation strongly preferred Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and proactively manage workload Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with multi-jurisdictional litigation and calendaring systems Proficiency with: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Adobe Acrobat Case management software (e.g., Filevine or similar – preferred) Experience with trial preparation and support in complex litigation #J-18808-Ljbffr
