This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 5+ years of experience who specialize in defending against all types of employment-related disputes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in labor laws, dispute resolution, and compliance strategies to support businesses or employees effectively. Discover Your Role Labor and Employment Practice Group At QPWB, our Labor and Employment Practice Group is composed of seasoned attorneys dedicated to assisting a diverse range of clients, including employers, carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insureds, in the defense of labor and employment-related actions. From initial claims handling through mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal, we provide comprehensive legal representation tailored to the unique needs of each client. As an Attorney specializing in labor and employment, your role will involve: Evaluating and managing labor and employment cases, developing effective legal strategies. Drafting and reviewing various legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements. -In addition, may draft various agreements pertaining to employee conduct, policies and regulatory compliance, as necessary. Advising and representing clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and mediations. Draft various agreements pertaining to employment laws, regulatory compliance, and negotiations. Regularly attending court appearances to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. Taking and defending depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses. What You’ll Bring To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements: Admitted to practice in the State of California. 5+ years' experience dealing with Labor and Employment Law matters. Possess analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex legal issues effectively. Demonstrate excellent research abilities and strong written and oral communication skills. Draft and respond to discovery-related motions. Regularly attend court appearances. Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses.
