Insurance Defense Associate Attorney

A growing and collaborative law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation / Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain strong hands‑on litigation experience while working alongside a supportive and experienced group of attorneys. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a variety of civil litigation matters, including insurance defense, general liability, professional liability, construction litigation, medical malpractice, and complex commercial litigation. Responsibilities Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents Assist with case strategy, evaluations, and litigation management Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials Conduct legal research and analyze legal issues Maintain strong client communication and provide excellent client service Collaborate with attorneys and staff in a fast‑paced team environment Manage deadlines, caseloads, and case‑related administrative responsibilities Qualifications JD from an accredited law school Minimum of 3–5 years of civil litigation experience Experience in insurance defense, general liability, professional liability, construction litigation, medical malpractice, and/or complex commercial litigation preferred Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills Ability to independently manage responsibilities while working collaboratively with others Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Why Join?
