Little Brook Montessori is seeking a passionate, Montessori-certified Head Teacher for our 3-6 classroom. We are looking for an educator who understands and respects authentic Montessori practice – someone who sees themselves not as the center of the classroom, but as a thoughtful guide who prepares the environment, observes carefully, and supports each child’s natural development. Key Responsibilities Guide children through the Montessori scope and sequence within a prepared environment. Develop and present engaging, developmentally appropriate Montessori lessons. Foster a peaceful, respectful, and harmonious classroom culture. Observe, document, and assess each child’s progress, adapting guidance as needed. Collaborate with families and colleagues to support each child’s growth. Maintain a beautiful, organized, and purposeful classroom environment. Qualifications Montessori certification from an accredited institution (3-6). Experience working with preschool-aged children. Strong observation skills and a deep understanding of child development.
