Job Details PD RN (Per Diem Registered Nurse) Location One Robert Wood Johnson Place, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 Department Coronary Care Unit Shift Night (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) Pay $47.85 – $71.72 per hour (New Jersey) Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health seeks a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Coronary Care Unit at the New Brunswick campus. Required Qualifications ASN or Nursing Diploma RN experience in Critical Care required Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient computer skills Preferred Qualifications BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire CCRN preferred Certifications and Licenses Required BLS and ACLS certification Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License Scheduling Requirements Night Shift, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. 2 shifts per month, plus one summer and one winter holiday Per Diem Essential Functions The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, ensuring awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA Code of Ethics. The Registered Nurse assures safety in practice and incorporates evidence-based practice principles, maintaining a realization of own knowledge and experience and assuming responsibility for advancing knowledge within the patient care team. The Registered Nurse reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors. The Registered Nurse is knowledgeable of the patient population served. The Registered Nurse supervises and directs the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient care providers. The Registered Nurse consistently sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement. The Registered Nurse is an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, utilizing the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualizing the plan of care to address a specific patient’s needs.
