Qualifications ASN or Nursing Diploma At least 2 years of Critical Care experience or 3-5 years of cardiac telemetry experience required Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient computer skills Preferred BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire CCRN preferred Certifications and Licenses Required BLS and ACLS certification Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License NIH Scheduling Requirements Day Shift, 36 hours per week, 7a-7:30p Monday - Friday, some weekend and holiday rotation PT Essential Functions The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice and ensures ethical standards of practice are observed. The Registered Nurse ensures safety, applies evidence‑based practice, and maintains continuous professional growth. The RN reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors. The RN has knowledge of the patient population served. The RN supervises delegations, directs tasks to appropriate team members, and collaborates with other providers. The RN sets and evaluates priorities, implements appropriate interventions, and measures outcomes toward improvement. The RN manages interdisciplinary care, utilizes the nursing process, and individualizes care plans to address specific patient needs.
