Location: Damariscotta, Maine
Schedule: 32 Hours/Week (0.8 FTE)
Duration: August 2026 – June 2027
Open Positions: 4
Setting: Onsite | K–5
Position Overview
We are seeking four dedicated Educational Technicians (Ed Tech II or III) to support a K–5 student population in a life skills-based program. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with students requiring additional academic and functional support in a structured, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct classroom support to students in a life skills curriculum
- Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support students with daily routines, functional skills, and social development
- Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
Student Population
- Elementary (K–5)
- Life skills-focused curriculum and support needs
Qualifications
- Active Educational Technician II or III certification (required)
- Experience working with elementary students or in special education preferred
- Strong teamwork, patience, and communication skills
