What You'll Do
- Manage patient caseload independently across inpatient rehab, acute care, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Assist patients recovering from surgeries, traumatic injuries, and complex medical conditions
- Use EMR systems including EPIC, Meditech Expanse, and Wellsky for charting
- Contribute to the rehabilitation progress of patients with conditions such as spinal cord injuries, strokes, orthopedic surgeries, and neuro diagnoses
- Support patients through early recovery phases and aim for optimal functional outcomes
What You Need
- Current Louisiana PT license
- Minimum of 1+ years experience in physical therapy
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Supportive towards multidisciplinary collaboration
About the Assignment
This position involves providing outpatient and inpatient therapy services to a wide range of patients, including those with complex and debilitating conditions. The role offers a collaborative environment with support from supervisors, assistant directors, and peer therapists. Full orientation and training are provided, with a focus on patient-centered care and professional growth.
