Your future role at a glance Location: Murfreesboro, TN Facility: Saint Thomas Rutherford Department: Case Management Schedule: Full-Time | Days How you'll make an impact in this role Process Authorizations: Obtain and record authorizations for ancillary services and handle denial reporting. Manage Referrals: Facilitate, identify, and document all patient referrals while ensuring patient choice of facilities or agencies is honored. Expedite Discharges: Transmit required medical documentation to external providers to secure fast patient acceptance. Payer Communication: Document all interactions with insurance payers and update relevant internal staff on authorization statuses. What minimum qualifications you'll need Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
