Forklift Operator Safety-Focused Material Handling Professional

Required Skills:
- Proven experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one promptly
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to conduct equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical capability to handle heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Basic troubleshooting and minor repair skills for forklift equipment
- Familiarity with various types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach trucks)
- Previous experience in a high-volume production or distribution facility
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in forklift operation or related warehouse roles
Other Requirements:
- Compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Ability to perform daily pre-operation safety checks
- Flexibility to work varying shifts if required
