The CSR is responsible for completing multiple tasks throughout the department to support patient care communications, maintain efficient workflow and high level of customer service.Qualifications:High School graduate or equivalentAble to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writingExcellent customer services skillsBasic computer knowledge, with previous data entry experienceAbility to type 40 wpmAbility to handle stressful situations in a professional and compassionate mannerPrevious experience in a customer service role required. Experience in a medical environment (Health Information and/or Physician Office), preferredPhysical Requirements:Able to extensively utilize telephone for communicationAble to speak clearly and distinctly with staff, patients, and familiesAble to bend, stretch and teach as necessary to fileDemonstrates adequate vision to prepare and read documents accuratelyDemonstrates adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations to complete the necessary work schedulePossess fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to manage office equipment
