Embedded Software Engineer

Description:
ENG- Perform requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance of embedded real-time C++ software related to Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) for missile programs. Support software engineering activities in an onsite, full-time environment at the Grand Prairie, TX location.

#Education & Job Requirements
*Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and typically 11+ years of work-related experience
*Proficiency in real-time embedded C++ programming
*Hands-on experience with Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL)
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
#Preferred Skills
*Experience with Ada
*Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
*Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and GitLab
#Job Duties & Functions
*Perform requirements analysis for embedded real-time software supporting missile programs
*Design embedded real-time C++ software related to Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL)
*Develop software applications and functionality according to established requirements
*Implement embedded software solutions for missile program applications
*Test software functionality and performance
*Integrate embedded software within Hardware-In-the-Loop environments
*Maintain existing embedded real-time C++ software
*Support onsite software engineering activities during the 4/10A-1st Shift schedule
