Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients and perform diagnostic tests related to respiratory function.
  
  
• 
  Administer therapeutic treatments such as oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and aerosol medications.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and management strategies.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and interventions.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and adjust treatment plans.
  
  
• 
  Follow established safety protocols and ensure compliance with licensing and hospital policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
  
  
• 
  Valid Oregon Respiratory Care License required.
  
  
• 
  Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required upon hire.
  
  
• 
  ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of two years of clinical respiratory care experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Additional certifications such as PALS within 90 days and NRP within six months of hire preferred.
