Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Contract) Position Details: Department: PCH-EV JV | Recruitment; Location: Phoenix; Shift: Mon‑Fri, Days, 8am‑5pm; Category: Human Resources; Posting #: 1028333; Employee Type: Full‑Time. Position Summary The Talent Acquisition Coordinator coordinates the Phoenix Children’s post‑offer recruitment process, including site visits, pre‑hire screenings, follow‑up, and onboarding. The role collaborates closely with the VP of Talent Acquisition and the Talent Acquisition team to implement and execute recruitment plans. With deep knowledge of Talent Acquisition processes, the coordinator offers solutions or recommendations tailored to the needs of Talent Acquisition and the candidates. This position acts independently and handles confidential information. Position Duties Assist with new hire orientation. Coordinate job offer activities: reference verification, work history, educational background, post‑offer drug screen and health assessment; schedule orientation to meet start dates. Initiate supplemental staffing requests for clinical and non‑clinical positions with temporary agencies; prepare applications for interview ensuring compliance with qualifications, licensing, and skill requirements. Manage relocation and travel: maintain budget activity, track expenses, facilitate invoicing for relocation proposals and payments, house hunting costs, local and national transportation. Maintain recruitment records and files to ensure ongoing accuracy and availability. Collaborate with HR Services to update new employee records and files, including verification of licensure/certification, background and education screening to ensure compliance. Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as requested. Preferred: Associates in Business or related field, or combination of education and experience. Experience Required: Three years of Human Resources and/or Healthcare administrative experience. Preferred: Three years of experience in a health care recruitment setting. Special Skills Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident, articulate, professional speaking abilities. Required: Strong commitment to team environment dynamics with ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives; enjoys working as a team member as well as independently.
