Roving Branch Banker

Richfield Branch, 14 S Main, Richfield, UT 84701, USA We are hiring a Roving Branch Banker at the Richfield Branch. The Roving Banker travels within Southern Utah to fill temporary operations vacancies at various branches. While traveling, the banker works regular shifts in the home branch, uses a company vehicle for travel, and does not require overnight stays. The Roving Banker assists customers with banking transactions while providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include handling deposits, withdrawals, issuing counter checks, performing money transfers, opening new accounts, receiving loan payments, and balancing the cash drawer according to bank policy. Responsibilities Travel to State Bank branches to support the retail operations team when needed, up to 60% of the time. Maintain and balance a cash drawer in accordance with bank policies. Assist customers in selecting accounts, products, and financial services. Accurately process debit and credit transactions while complying with established policies. Identify customer needs, make referrals, cross‑sell bank services, and perform money transfers. Resolve customer problems and provide exceptional service. Manage time effectively to meet the bank’s operational needs. Perform other clerical duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Must pass a credit and background check. High School Graduate or GED. Must be at least 18 years of age. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years Teller experience. 1+ year New Accounts experience. 1+ year experience interacting with the public. Skills Adaptable to new situations, customers, and personnel. Strong understanding of cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, and bank products. Proficient in business computer systems for transaction processing. Effective communication in person and over the phone. Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail. Self‑motivated to greet customers promptly, politely, and friendly. Licenses and Certifications Must present a valid driver's license and clean driver record. Benefits Medical Insurance & HSA.
