Business Support Analyst

JOB SUMMARY
The Business Support Analyst provides operational and analytical support to the Technology organization by managing business processes, analyzing data, coordinating work requests, and ensuring the timely completion of operational activities. This role supports day-to-day operations through accurate data management, ticket coordination, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while working independently.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze, organize, and maintain business data using Microsoft Excel.
Submit, monitor, and manage tickets through the organization's ticket management system.
Track ticket progress, proactively follow up, and ensure timely completion of assigned work requests.
Coordinate with technology teams and business partners to resolve operational issues and obtain required information.
Maintain accurate documentation of requests, status updates, and completed work.
Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Assist in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational workflows.
Support project activities through task coordination and administrative assistance.
Prioritize competing assignments while meeting deadlines and service expectations.
Perform additional operational, analytical, and administrative duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
Formulas
PivotTables
VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
Filtering & Sorting
Data Analysis
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently follow tasks through to completion.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and business teams.
Experience using ticketing or work management systems such as:
Jira
ServiceNow
Azure DevOps
Zendesk
Similar platforms (preferred)
Experience with SQL and writing SQL queries is a plus but not required.
