As a Security Officer X Ray Patrol in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:30 AM - 08:30 AM Tue12:30 AM - 08:30 AM Wed12:30 AM - 08:30 AM Sun08:30 AM - 04:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas. Help to deter unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior by maintaining a visible presence and reporting concerns promptly. Monitor assigned areas for unusual conditions such as access issues, loitering, and/or facility concerns, and relay information to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. X‑Ray screening experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
