Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in medical-surgical care is sought for a facility located in Salida, Colorado. This role involves providing high-quality acute care and swing bed patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting patient recovery. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment. The position offers night shifts with a schedule of three shifts per week, totaling 36 hours, including every other weekend.

• Required Qualifications: Valid and current license as a Registered Nurse in Colorado; minimum of an Associate's Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred; at least one year of nursing experience; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications preferred.
• Schedule: Nights - 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week. The schedule will include every other weekend. No mandatory overtime, but overtime is allowable.
• Essential Duties: Provide evidence-based acute and swing bed patient care; evaluate patient health status; offer health teaching and counseling; execute medical functions; monitor therapy and treatment plans; document patient care accurately and timely; collaborate with ancillary departments and physicians to address patients' medical, social, and spiritual needs.
• Additional Information: The position requires a quick start and is open to candidates with no minimum years of experience.
