Job Title

RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown – Nights

Location

Carbondale, IL

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (1900–0730) | Every other weekend and holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team
• Use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible parties
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records
• Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
• Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills

Required Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Progressive Care, Stepdown, or IMC unit setting
• Experience caring for cardiac and respiratory patient populations
